CALL TO ORDER: The Regular Meeting of the Point Marion Borough Council was called to order by President DuBois at 7:05 PM. A moment of silence was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL: President DuBois, Vice President Reynolds, Councilwomen Shaffer, Griffith, Evans, Councilman Kelley present, with Councilman Kaczmarczyk and Mayor Ables absent. A quorum is present.
ENGINEER’S REPORT: Mr. Strimel reported on the final inspection of the Water Line Project by the USDA, she found everything acceptable and stated we should proceed with the paperwork needed for the project closeout.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None
READING OF THE MINUTES: An error of Council instead of Councilman on page 2 of the minutes was discovered. A motion by Vice President Reynolds and second by Councilwoman Shaffer to accept the minutes as corrected. Motion Carried.
MAYOR’S REPORT: None
SECRETARY/TREASURER/BOROUGH MANAGER’S REPORT: Mr. Srimel reported on the Audit for the Non-Professional Pension Fund for 2011 and 2012. There was an error on the new hire qualifications of one of our employees and we need to reimburse the Commonwealth of Pa for his Pension Allotment for 2011. The amount is $ 6.545.00. A motion by Vice President Reynolds and second by Councilwoman Evans to reimburse the Commonwealth for the allotment in the amount of $6,545.00 to be divided between the Water and Sewer Funds. Roll call showed all in favor, motion carried by unanimous vote.
SOLICITOR’S REPORT: Mr. Grimm is still working on the paperwork for the Camp Run Park Road Bridge. He was questioned about the right of ways for the rail trial, he stated that he had not been in touch with Donna Holdorf yet to get some technical answers.

Project July 31, 2014 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Point Marion V.F.D. She has had no updates from Triad on the progress of the design of the Trail at this time and has had no contact with Free Flow Power. There will be a Picnic in memory of Tracy Stack at the Great Allegheny Passage on July 26, 2014, she will have more information by the next meeting.
PARK: Councilman Kelley reported that there will be a representative from the
Westmorland Council of the Boy Scouts to bring some ideas for a new scouting program to the Park Commission at their meeting on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at 7:00PM. There will be a movie at the Park on Saturday July 5, 2014 free to the Pubic, will be a practice movie to try out a new format to see how it works, so we can get set up some movies for the rest of the season.

NEW BUSINESS: Mr. Grimm stated the need to go into an Executive Session for Legal Reason. A motion by Vice president Reynolds and second by Councilwoman Evans to go into an Executive Session for Legal Reasons at 7:50p.m. Motion Carried.
A motion by Vice President Reynolds and second by Councilman Kelley to return to Regular Session at 8:08p.m. President DuBois stated that there would be no action at this time as a result of the Executive Session.
ADJOURNMENT: Having no other business to come before Council, a motion by Councilwoman Shaffer and second by Councilwoman Evans to adjourn at 8:08pm. Motion Carried.
